Privacy policy
Last updated 18 September 2026
This policy explains what we collect when you use workunwound.com, why we collect it, and how to ask us about it.
Who we are
Work Unwound is an AI consultancy for UK SMEs, run from Portsmouth / Hampshire. It is part of the Attache Digital Group. For this website and the services described on it, we are the data controller.
You can reach us through the contact page or by ringing +44 23 8241 0160.
What we collect
If you send a message, we collect the details you type into the form. That is usually:
- Name
- Email address
- Company name, if you give it
- Your message
- The date and time the form was sent
If you book a 30-minute call, that booking is handled by Google Calendar. Google’s privacy policy applies to that booking.
If you ring us, we will keep the notes needed to reply or to do the work you asked for.
We do not buy mailing lists. We do not scrape contact details from this site’s visitors.
Why we use it
We use that information to reply to you, quote and deliver work, and keep a record of what was agreed.
We do not use it for advertising. We do not sell it.
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on:
- Legitimate interests — to answer an enquiry you sent us, and to run this website.
- Contract — once we agree paid work, to deliver it and to invoice.
- Legal obligation — if tax or accounting rules require us to keep a record.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for up to 24 months after the last useful contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner and we have no legal reason to keep them.
If we do paid work together, invoices and contract records are kept for as long as UK tax rules require — usually six years.
Who we share it with
We share information only where it is needed to run the site or the work:
- The Attache Digital Group, where they provide systems or support used to run Work Unwound.
- Website hosting and infrastructure providers, who store the site.
- Resend, which delivers the email when you send a message from the form.
Those providers only get what they need to do that job. We do not pass your details to advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not show a cookie banner because we are not setting non-essential cookies.
Site analytics, when added, will be cookieless (Rybbit). That means we can see aggregate page use without storing a cookie to recognise you.
The hosting platform may use strictly necessary technical storage so the site can load. That is not used to profile you.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to restrict how we use it. You can also object to our use of it where we rely on legitimate interests.
To do that, use the contact page or ring the number above. We will reply within one month.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you are not satisfied with how we handle your information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. The current version is the one published here.
